Taye Taiwo will leave Marseille in the summer when his contract ends and there is talk that Manchester City will pick up the full back as a free transfer.
The Nigerian almost moved to Atletico Madrid last summer and the full-back claims that he is already in negotiations regarding a move, however, he is not prepared to reveal the identity of the club.
Taiwo told Nigerian newspaper La Nation: "I have decided not to extend my deal. In June I want to change club.
"I don't want to reveal who we are negotiating with, but it's a club that plays in one of the three major European leagues."
