Marseille believe Fulham remain keen on striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
The French club want to offload Gignac, who earns £3m a year, to buy another striker this month. He is available on an initial loan deal with the option to buy him for £6m in the summer.
And Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo said: "Martin Jol appreciates the player. Everything depends on how quickly he gets himself into shape. It is not over."
On Monday, Jol said: "He is injured and I don't sign injured players."
