Olympique Marseille coach Rudi Garcia has confirmed a deal is close for AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman.

The Holland international is set to join OM today after a fee of €25m was settled between the two clubs.

Garcia confirmed Strootman's arrival was now being settled after their draw with Rennes.

"Normally we must be cautious on the market front, but it seems that there is an agreement, but we wait to see if it comes to officialisation," said Garcia.

"It would be good news, but if it does not materialize, we will find another track to follow."
