Tottenham striker Clinton N'Jie is believed to be in France after Marseille made an inquiry about a loan deal for the Cameroon international.

The French club used the negotiations with Spurs over the £10.8million sale of Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, which should be completed this week, to enquire about taking N'Jie.

The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane since joining from Lyon for £8.3m last summer.
