Olympique Marseille are in contact with Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

The Frenchman only leaved Marseille last summer for Palace and is currently recovering from a knee injury.

France Football says OM chief Andoni Zubizarreta has spoken directly with Mandanda, though the subject of the discussion has not been disclosed.

RTL, meanwhile, reports the new owners of OM want to bring Mandanda back to the club.

The France international left Marseille before Frank McCourt had completed his takeover.
