Olympique Marseille chief Jose Anigo has told French players to stop dreaming of playing in the Premier League.
Anigo insists French football is better for them.
"We must stop this obsession with the Premier League," he told AFP.
"They hear about the big clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea, but sitting behind them are teams like Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"The French players at such clubs are used to playing with the ball, but now we see them for ninety minutes watching the ball fly over their heads."
