Marseille chasing Valencia striker Morientes

Olympique Marseille are chasing Valencia striker Fernando Morientes.

The 33 year-old former European Football of the Year is a free agent and under consideration by Marseille coach Didier Deschamps.

Morientes' minders have also been contacted by Fiorentina in the last 24 hours.
