Olympique Marseille chairman Jacques-Henri Eyraud insists a deal for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud could yet happen.

Giroud has been linked with OM, though coach Rudi Garcia appeared to dampen the prospect this week.

However, Eyraud insisted: "What the coach said about Giroud reflects the reality.

"(But) he is a profile to think about, to think about. But there are others. And before that, we have Valère Germain.

"We're very happy to have him with us."
