Olympique Marseille are chasing Manchester City defender Karim Rekik.

Rekik spent last season on-loan with PSV Eindhoven and the Dutch champs are eager to extend his deal into next season.

However, AD says Marseille are also keen, where coach Marcelo Bielsa has made a personal request for Rekik to be signed this summer.

Marseille are strengthening their ties with City and are also in loan talks for midfielder Seko Fofana.

For his part, Rekik has stated he'd like to return to PSV, with a permanent deal mooted.
