Olympique Marseille have opened talks with Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo striker is a free agent after negotiating a pay-off from his Tottenham contract last week.
Le 10 Sport says preliminary talks between Adebayor and Marseille have kicked off.
The centre-forward also remains a confirmed target for Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood.
Adebayor left Marseille for Arsenal to launch his Premier League career.
