Melbourne Heart right-back Michael Marrone believes the new A-League club are beginning to put it all together.
In their opening nine games, the Heart have performed indifferently with some brilliant performances (namely wins over Wellington Phoenix and Melbourne Victory) and some horror losses (4-0 to Brisbane Roar, 3-2 to Adelaide United) but Marrone feels now everything is headed in the right direction.
''Playing with new players is always a different experience and starting at a new club is always going to be difficult, but I feel we are starting to get it together now. All the players have got an understanding," he said.
''We were very disappointed with the 4-0 loss in Brisbane and the big test now is trying to get a result in Wellington on Sunday, which will be challenging.''
The 8th-placed Heart meet the 5th-placed Phoenix at Westpac Stadium on Sunday, October 17 - kick-off is at 3:00pm AEST (5:00pm local time).
