Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has left the door open to signing Catania striker Maxi Lopez. The Argentine has been linked with Juve as a replacement for injured centre-forward Amauri.
Marotta admitted: "Maxi Lopez? It's not just us who like him, but there are no contacts with Catania and I do not think there will be in the short-term, we must first make evaluations between ourselves.
"I will also say that we cannot count on Amauri, a striker of quality who is missed. We must improve the quality of the squad."
