Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta insists they'll try to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

Can comes off contract at Anfield this summer.

Marotta said, "As for Emre Can he's an important player who currently plays for Liverpool. We know his contract is expiring but he could renew or have other opportunities.

“We'll try to bring him to us, we'll try to take him, it's a difficult objective but I think a big club has to have the ambition to achieve difficult objectives.

“The answer is the same for [Matteo] Politano. Sassuolo are a solid club, and if they haven't sold him then they don't need to. It's nothing to do with us."
