Juventus GM Beppe Marotta says they hope to keep Carlos Tevez long-term.
The striker has been linked with Boca Juniors for a summer return.
Marotta said: "We have an excellent relationship with [Carlos] Tevez. The player integrated himself from day one not only in the formation, but also in the Juventus mentality.
"He absorbed our history, our prestige and our trophies, which we wanted to renew with him at Juventus by winning the Scudetto immediately.
"We did it, and Tevez is now a fantastic professional and we have the same deal with him that we do with [goalkeeper Gianluigi] Buffon.
"When he wants to stop playing for Juventus we will do our best to respect his wishes.
"But for now that condition does not subsist and we will do our best to keep him for as long as possible."
