Marotta denies Juventus need "repair"

Juventus GM Beppe Marotta denies the squad needs "repair" after their Champions League elimination.

Juve now must compete in the second tier Europa League.

"All teams take part in a competition to go as far as possible," Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

"We were very bitter at going out, but it is a tournament and each game can be decisive, whether good or bad. We'll take this as a lesson for the future, as evidently some mistakes and unfavourable situations came together.

"We have a good squad that suits the needs of the Coach. This summer we brought in two quality strikers and two youngsters who are making their mark.

"Juve don't need to 'repair' the team in January and in all honesty I don't think there will be any advantageous moves for us."
