Marnick Vermijl on the outer at Man Utd

Marnick Vermijl turned out for Manchester United reserves in their 2-1 friendly win at Barnsley.

The young Belgian fullback was the most experienced player in a young United line-up.

Josh Harrop scored both of United's goals in the first half on a pleasant summer's evening in South Yorkshire.

Vermijl spent last season on-loan with NEC Nijmegen and faces an uncertain future at United under new manager Louis van Gaal.
