Dean Marney is delighted to get his chance to remain in the top flight following his move from relegation club Hull City to Burnley.
The 28-year old has signed a three-year deal with the Clarets and is looking forward to another Premier League campaign.
"Everybody wants to play in the Premier League, it's regarded as the best league in the world," he told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"I definitely want to get back and definitely feel I can do it with Burnley.
"The Championship is a really tough league, everyone knows that, but with the quality of the squad I'm sure if we all play to the best of our ability we are as good as anyone and I'm sure we will do really well.
"It's a strong squad. I'm looking forward to pre-season and getting to know the lads and I'm really looking forward to the challenge. I just can't wait to get going now."
