Non-league Market Drayton Town have snapped up released Stoke City fullback Mike Clarkson.
Clarkson, 19, was released by Stoke in the summer and was signed up by new Market Drayton boss Greg Clowes yesterday ready to play in the Evo-Stik League Division One South.
Clowes told the Shropshire Star: "Mike was a first year pro with Stoke City last year so he obviously has some quality.
"We have taken a look with him in training, and we've taken him on board."
