Mario Suarez admits he wants to put down roots at Watford.

The midfielder left Fiorentina last season for the Hornets, though is now being linked with a move away.

"Paulo Sousa did not count on me in Florence," said Suarez. "I chose Fiorentina to conquer a place for the Euros, but things did not go as I hoped.

"I was transferred to Watford as early as January, reaching only the best physical condition at the end of the season. I have experienced so many changes lately and last year was a big loss for my career.

"Now I want to recover, to return to feel good. Only if I'm 100% I can show my worth."
