Mario Kempes on Valencia axing: They don't like criticism

Valencia legend Mario Kempes has expanded on yesterday's dramatic news of his axing as an ambassador.

The Argentine revealed the decision on Twitter in the morning.

"I'm fine, nothing bad has happened to me. The bad is happening to those who are doing things wrong," Kempes told Marca.

"On December 19, I finished my contract as an ambassador of Valencia and afterwards nobody called me. I guess because they do not like to see people from the outside saying that they are not doing well.

"They are also accustomed to letting no one tell them the truth and they can do and undo as they wish."

On the club's situation, he added: "If it continues like this, the future is not very flattering, but there is no evil that a hundred years lasts. This year will serve as learning to know what not to do."
