Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Mario Gotze will put himself in the Premier League shop window this week against Arsenal.
The Germany international is being watched by Manchester United, while Arsenal had a €40 million bid for him turned down in the final week of the summer market.
New Gunners defender Per Mertesacker gushed: "Dortmund have formed a great team over the last two years. Gotze is one of the greatest players and a great one for the future.
"All the fans sing his name every time he plays. We will have to defend well to stop him."
