Mario Gomez hopes to be soon be back on the pitch for Fiorentina.
The Germany international was expected to make a comeback last month but his return was postponed after swelling in the surgically repaired knee.
"The tests done on Monday went well and I am better," Gomez said to firenzeviola.it. "No problems have emerged from the latest tests, hence, we will see what happens and when I will return to play.
"I don't want to speak too much, I just want to play considering I've only made two league appearances for Fiorentina this season.
"I want to thank everyone in Florence. I just want to help Fiorentina by returning very soon."
