Marino: Udinese deserve recognition for Fiorentina win

Udinese coach Pasquale Marino hopes the weekend's crowd violence won't stop people being impressed by their victory at Fiorentina.

The Zebrette are equal third after shocking Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi last Sunday.

"I'd rather talk about the football," the ex-Catania boss insisted. "We want to write a positive chapter in the club's history.

"Winning like we did on Sunday and not being able to celebrate as we should have has made us lose the enthusiasm we deserve.

"We played very well in Florence. The day before, I said that I expected us to play very differently to the game against Livorno.

"Our problem hadn't been a lack of concentration, as some people had suggested, but rather a fitness issue and with a week's work behind us I knew we could do it."
