Napoli sports chief Pierpaolo Marino remains hopeful of qualification for the Europa League with victory today at Sampdoria.
"We must try to win at Marassi and bring home the three points without thinking of how anyone else performs," he said.
"Unfortunately the race for Europe doesn't only depend on us, but we have to concentrate on our own game and give 100 per cent."
Marino added: "We will have to step on to the field concentrated and determined. The standards cannot be allowed to slip now that there are only two matches left.
"We must try to limit Sampdoria's attacks and take control of the tempo, as playing slowly makes us predictable and it's something we need to avoid."
