Marino keeping Udinese grounded

Udinese coach Pasquale Marino isn't getting carried away after a series of positive results.

"We still need to improve in the final third," Marino lamented. "We also need to iron out the defence and the way we control possession.

"It is important that we become less predictable and with the element of surprise we will be more effective."

The ex-Catania boss has implemented his 3-4-3 formation at the Stadio Friuli and has been pleased with the way his new side has taken to the system.

"The team has absorbed the new tactics well," he claimed. "It wasn't easy to make the change as it is hard to work on that during the week."
