Central Coast Mariners captain Alex Wilkinson hopes his side can stop leaking in defence. After coming from three-nil down against Sydney FC on the weekend to finish 3-3, Wilkinson told the A-League's official website that although it was a satisfying result, the club needs to sure things up at the back.
"It was a great effort and sums up what our club is all about," Wilkinson said.
"We've got great character in the club and a lot of our success is based on that. But we've got to tighten up our defence.
"You can't keep giving teams three goals start and expect to come back all the time."
