Mariners sign Tadrosse for short stint

Central Coast Mariners have signed former Australian U20 representative Chris Tadrosse for a six week stint. Tadrosse has most recently been playing in Germany's fourth league or the Oberliga Nordrhein with Borussia Monchendgladbach II and was also a member of the inaugural Melbourne Victory squad in 2005. Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman was excited of the latest addition the squad, saying, "Chris has been training with us for close to a month now and during such time, our coaching staff have been most impressed by his work ethic, character and the qualities that he will introduce to our squad." The player himself was also extremely excited about the opportunity presented to him. "I've been away from the Hyundai A-League for two seasons now but have been keeping an eye on proceedings and it's fantastic to have been given another opportunity to contribute to this very exciting competition," Tadrosse said. "The Mariners have been one of the more successful clubs since the beginning and having been introduced to their set up and to their playing group it's easy to see why. "I'm excited to be a part of this great club and this great team for what is a very important part of the season." The Mariners are using the 23-year old to cover the short-term loss of playmaking defender Dean Heffernan.
