Sevilla midfielder Enzo Maresca is at a loss over their sudden form crisis this season.

The Italy international said: "Nobody could hope to match the success of the last two years, no team has done as well as us. Football is not easy, however that doesn't mean we can look at this as an excuse.

"The fact Sevilla has a good squad of players doesn't mean anything on the pitch."
