Marek Hamsik is convinced Napoli are a better proposition this season.

Napoli finished third last term after challenging for the Serie A title over many months.

"President Aurelio De Laurentiis has overseen a fantastic transfer campaign, as we are stronger than last year," Hamsik told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Players like Gokhan Inler, Goran Pandev and Blerim Dzemaili guarantee a step up in quality.

"Having said that, if it were up to me, I'd ban use of the word Scudetto."
