Marcus Rashford hails Man Utd family atmosphere

Marcus Rashford credits Manchester United's family atmosphere for his emergence.

Rashford, 18, went from a relative unknown before Christmas to being named in the England squad for the Three Lions' Euro 2016 campaign.

He told the Premier League website: “Every player develops from the moment they join the academy and that continues right through to the first team.

“This really is a family club and there are so many coaches and players around to give you advice.

“The environment is very important - at Manchester United you are very well looked after both on and off the pitch.

“From the moment I came here I have felt at home and there are so many coaches and players around to give you advice.

“I would say the step up to the first team was the most significant.

“At the start of the season my aim was to cement a place in the under-21 team.

“So to get the call up to be included in the first team was like a dream come true.

“To play football in front of 75,000 fans at Old Trafford is what most young boys dream of doing."
