Marco Silva hellbent on improving Watford players confidence

Watford manager Marco Silva is keen on improving his players following a difficult run of recent results.

Watford are currently on a terrible run of four defeats in their last five matches and now a frustrated Hornets manager Marco Silva has stated that he is currently focusing on improving his players in order to stop the rut.

Silva said: "We don't change our way, we believe in our idea. But we need to improve somethings that we haven't done well.

"We need to create other ways for our players to do diff thuings too - but withinour philosphy and character as a team. Confidence is important. When the results are really good, everybody has confidence and everybody wants to take responsibilities.

"Nothing changes in our work, how we prepare for matches. It's normal when you have good results that the confidence increases, and when you have bad results or lose games, like at Crystal Palace, when we performed well and in six or seven minutes lost the game - nobody expects it.

"It's not our way. Then against Huddersfield we didn't perform well. It's normal that the confidence of the team and some players goes down in a situation like that. It's our job as the staff to put the team at a good level, compete and change the last results."
