Marcin Wasilewski commits to new Leicester deal

Marcin Wasilewski has signed a new one-year deal with Leicester City.

The Leicester Mercury says Wasilewski will be a City player next season after signing a new one-year contract.

The Poland international has impressed Nigel Pearson this season and the City boss publically stated he wanted to keep the 33-year-old.

City are now just waiting on decisions from Kasper Schmeichel and David Nugent, who are both out of contract next month and have yet to accept their contract offers, although Nugent is believed to be in advanced talks.

Young striker Tom Hopper has also been offered a new contract.
