Juventus fullback Claudio Marchisio has hailed the influence of Gigi Buffon in their superb start to the season.

The youngster said: "He is in an extraordinary vein of form. He has confirmed himself as the No. 1 in the world. We have started the season well and a great team has to do this, winning the difficult away games like those against Roma and the games against the little teams as well.

"We want to win the Scudetto and we can't stop ourselves now."
