Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata believes the month of March was a vital one for the club.
The Red Devils sit fourth on the Premier League table after winning all three of their fixtures during March including an impressive 3-0 triumph over Tottenham and a dynamic victory over arch rivals Liverpool which was sparked by the Spaniard.
Reflecting back on the month, former Chelsea ace Mata spoke of just how important the results were as he received his Player of the Month award from the United supporters.
"I want to thank our fans for the Player of the Month award for March," he wrote on his personal blog juanmata8.com.
"It's been a month with several key victories and a boost of confidence for the team."
United next meet 16th-placed Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Saturday.
