Marcelo is delighted to be back in the Real Madrid first team and has defended coach Bernd Schuster's rotation policy after their 2-2 draw at Lazio on Wednesday night.

"I always had faith in my ability," said the Brazilian left-back, "and I knew my chance would come. Now I want to make the most of it.

"I believe the rotations aren't a problem because every player in the squad has the quality to play in each game. The rotations aren't a problem for the players."
