Marcelo has rubbished reports of rifts inside the Real Madrid dressing room after victory over Athletic Bilbao.

Real went into the game with claims of splits inside the squad.

But Marcelo said: "This is a very important victory for us. We had good touch on ball and played an organised game. We knew it would be hard to face Athletic Bilbao.

"You can tell we're united and that there's nothing weird going on. If something was up it would affect us. I feel great because I'm passionate about playing football. It's always important to me to play at the Bernabeu with this shirt. That's why I always give my all. We'll fight to the end and we'll only stop when the ref whistles the end. Real Madrid fight to the end in every game and training session."
