Diego Maradona has branded Argentina FA officials "idiots" for not selecting Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez for the Copa America.
Tevez is not in the plans of Argentina coach Sergio Batista.
"You must be drunk or thick not to select Tevez," barked Maradona.
"I received so much criticism during my reign, now we are talking about a complete idiot, and nothing is said, that's the difference.
"Every coach has his way of playing, but I would certainly not make Lionel a No9."
