Napoli legend Diego Maradona has congratulated Marek Hamsik after matching his goalscoring record.

The club captain was on target in last night's 3-1 victory over Torino.

That took his total tally to 115 competitive goals for Napoli, equalling the all-time club record set by Maradona.

“My congratulations to Marek Hamsik for reaching 115 goals with Napoli," wrote the Argentina legend on Facebook.

“I hope you continue to score many more for the joy of the fans!!!"
