Napoli legend Diego Maradona is a big fan of Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Maradona would like his old club to replace Gonzalo Higuain, now of Juventus, with the England international.

Maradona said: “They need new faces and they need to sell Higuain for as much money as possible. Instead of Higuain, I would go for [Harry] Kane of Tottenham."

Napoli, who eventually sold Higuain to Juventus for £78million last month, are understood to have then had an enquiry for Kane dismissed by Spurs, says the Mirror.
