Manuel Llorente will be named new president of Valencia on Monday.

Llorente will succeed Vicente Soriano, who resigned as president last week after failing to find a buyer for the Mestalla stadium.

In a board meeting on Friday, along with confirming Llorente as president, five of the nine board members tendered their resignations. Meaning a overhaul of the board will also be needed during talks with shareholders today.
