Mansfield boss Cox happy to keep QPR defender Jamie Sendles-White

Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox is happy to have extended the loan of QPR defender Jamie Sendles-White.

The 23-year-old's initial spell with the Stags ended at the weekend, but his new deal will now expire at midnight on Saturday, January 3.

"We're extending Jamie's loan. The reasoning behind that is we've lost Sutton and Dempster and don't get them back until mid to late December," said Cox.

"I don't want to be going into the Christmas period flipping a coin to see how many people we've got fit.

"I think the kid has done well and there's more to come from him.

"We're just getting to know each other but I think he's been a good addition to the squad."
