Mansfield Town are keen on Crystal Palace goalkeeper Lewis Price.
The Croydon Advertiser says the Stags are in the market for a new number one after Alan Marriott left the club last week.
"We have a number of targets and I hope something can be done sooner than later on a permanent or loan," said Mansfield boss Paul Cox.
"The amount we paid Palace for Lewis Price was minimalistic and sometimes you are embarrassed what we actually paid them.
"We have spoken to Palace and the lad and it's all been positive. But, with the situation we are in, realistically it would mean Crystal Palace wanting to help us out as we couldn't get anywhere near even half of his wages."
