Vito Mannone is waiting to open new contract talks with Arsenal.

The People says the Italian has been playing regularly in recent weeks, as Wojciech Szczesny and No.2 keeper Lukasz Fabianski are injured. But Mannone does not know if he will be at the club next season because the north London side are yet to make him a concrete offer.

Mannone, 24, has spent six years at the Emirates - including a few spells out on loan as he bids to make the grade - and thought he was in the club's long-term plans. But now his friends have revealed he is concerned that he will be overlooked - and is thinking about a possible move.

Mannone is playing for his future and if he is not handed a better deal he will be looking to secure a transfer in the summer.
