Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone admits he loved last season's Great Escape.
Mannone insists a season which could easily have ended in disaster nonetheless contained "special moments which will stick with me" - including "probably the greatest escape ever."
Mannone said: "With everything which has happened this season, there area few special moments which will stick with me. If I had to predict the way it went, I couldn't have done. It was a really emotional season with highs and lows, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
"Making my debut was special against Hull (City), where I had played for two years.
"We did brilliantly in the (Capital One) Cup and the semi-final at Manchester United was probably the best moment for me.
"The way everything happened that night was so special.
"There were a few other special moments against the big clubs too. Winning against them is never easy and we did it in a good style.
"Then finishing the season with probably the greatest escape ever was memorable."
