Maniche was delighted to score in Atletico Madrid's 3-0 Champions League victory at PSV Eindhoven last night.

The Portugal midfielder struck after Sergio Aguero's double had stunned the hosts. Maniche said: "We must enjoy this moment and take Atleti back to the top. We can do something big.

"When you score a goal you do not think, it is all instinct.

"I was aware that it was a very difficult task to return to the team, but now I feel like an important player.

"I have no words to describe our kid: Aguero will be the best player in the world in two or three years' time."
