Former Portsmouth owner Milan Mandaric has hinted at a possible return to the struggling south coast club.
Mandaric sold Pompey to Alexandre Gaydamak four years ago after buying in 1998 before moving onto Leicester City whom he planned to take to the top flight just like he had done at Fratton Park.
He will complete the sale of Leicester to Thai consortia, Asian Football Investments, this week and said that a return to Pompey could be on the cards.
"I would always be interested in going back, although at the moment I am still involved with Leicester," he told the Daily Star.
"Everyone knows my love affair with ¬Portsmouth, and the club is still very much in my heart.
"If I had known what was going to happen to Portsmouth after I left, then I would never have sold it in the first place.
"To go back there is something I would never rule out, but that is all I can say at the moment."
