Roberto Mancini is willing to give up £10 MILLION to win the job at Portsmouth.
The Mirror says Mancini wants a substantial transfer budget guaranteed before deciding whether to accept the job.
The former Inter Milan boss and his agent flew to Paris on Tuesday to meet Pompey executive chairman Peter Storrie to discuss taking charge.
Mancini would be kissing goodbye to a £10million severance payment from his sacking by Inter if he returns to management.
A source in Italy said: "Roberto is very attracted to the Premier League, even if Portsmouth are not in the top tier, but he wants to know how much they are going to invest."
