Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has warned his players they face a fight to keep hold of second-place.
Chelsea and Tottenham are on their tails and could snatch runners-up spot.
But Mancini said: "I am sure Chelsea and Tottenham want to take second place.
"I don't think that can happen but we need to pay attention.
"We want it as well. It is important for the players to finish second because if we do that and win the FA Cup it could still be a good season.
"The title race is over but that changes nothing as we should do our best from now until the end of the season."
