Mancini warns Man City's Tevez

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has warned Carlos Tevez - shape up or ship out.

The warning comes after Mancini's training sessions were criticised by the Argentine and the Italian manager said if Tevez was unhappy at the club then he can go and find elsewhere to play.

"If a top player is not happy to stay here then it's better for him to go to another team," said Mancini.

"This is not just the case for Tevez, but for all players. The same goes for Tevez, for Emmanuel Adebayor, for me, for all.

"It's important that when a manager or player works in a team, he must be happy to work in this team. It's not good for the club, for the squad or the player if he's not.

"Tevez has four years left on his contract. For one player it's important to be happy when working in a team.

"If he's not happy, it's better to change squads, not just for Tevez but for every player."
