The future of Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is on the line after their Champions League elimination.

The Daily Express says Mancini could be the second manager in two days to be sacked for failure in the Champions League as Manchester City were dumped out at the group stage for a second successive season last night.

Roberto Di Matteo paid with his job after Chelsea all but crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday - and Mancini's role could also come under question, despite the club sitting at the top of the Premier League.
